This giveaway is closed.  Thanks!
March is National Nutrition Month®, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a culinary give-away!  Let's give a round of applause to the sponsor, cookware.com from CNS Stores.  They also own a kids furniture store at allchildrensfurniture.com.  I'm very thankful, so please check out their sites!
As you can see, I had great difficulty trying to narrow down one item for the giveaway.  So I've selected a sample of culinary treats for you to choose from.  Thank you for your comments on the giveaway preview- I tried to feature some of your requests!

Hi Rach! As you probably know, the baguette pans are my top choice! :) It's a tough choice, but I think I prefer baking because you can spread the love so much further (by giving the baked goods to friends, neighbors, etc) more easily than packaging up that lasagna or soup you cooked up. I guess I bake so much Jesse asked me if I had to live without baking or without my cell phone, which would I choose!! :-p And I am totally going to blog about you right now, so check it out. I'll think of what I want for my second entry. ;)

Hey again! I have decided. We had to return our waffle maker in order to not pack as many items and buy some that were more necessary on our registry and for the big move, so the waffle maker is my #2 choice! See ya!!

Yogurt maker all the way. That is the one thing I wanted for my wedding that no one bought me. I got all the rest.

I like baking better because I love chocolate, although I have been cooking more recently.

thanks for holding this wonderful giveaway! i LOVE browsing kitchen items/tools. the item that i would love to have is the Chef's Choice Pronto Diamond Hone Manual Knife Sharpener. my knives are my babies, but i never look forward to sharpening them. Also, if i had to choose between cooking and baking, i would have to pick cooking. it's funny because i would've said baking all the way up until maybe this year. however, discovering all these wonderful blogs has really opened up my eyes to the possibility of world of cooking and i just can't stay out of the kitchen!

I can't decide!!! The nut grinder or the Paula Deen pan!

I prefer baking, mostly because I prefer to eat baked goods!

This is SUCH a hard decision!!! Such great items! WOW! I would probably choose the nut and spice grinder. That would be really usefull to me. :) As to cooking vs. baking: I really prefer cooking because it's more of an art form, whereas I have found baking to be more of a science. I'm just not good at science and so my baking usually flops! Cooking all the way. :)

Great giveaway! I would have to say #1(the fondue set). I recently made fondue and I borrowed my friends set. It was so much fun and ever since then wanted to get one.
Although I enjoy cooking, I love baking. I am all for the sweet treats that are the final products.

Fantastic giveaway! I would love to have the yogurt maker. Cooking versus baking?? It's like comparing poetry and chemistry. Cooking is poetry, but if you get baking wrong in the beginning it's a lost cause. I'm better at cooking. Go poetry!

I've also included a link on my blog www.gwenhyfr.blogspot.com. Thanks!

After seeing the yogurt maker on your list up there I think I would have to go with that. The baking mats I would buy for myself but the yogurt maker I would not, so why not try to win one! I wonder if you could make yogurt with Almond milk?
I think I prefer baking if I had to choose between the two but I would take either one.

yogurt maker! it was a hard choice between that and the knife sharpener which was also very tempting...all the knives in my classroom need sharpening =]

I posted a link to your giveaway on my blog as well.

wait...scratch that...ditch the yogurt maker and put me down for the knife sharpener. Practicality won out after all :)

1. Awesome that you're a dietetic intern! Are you loving in? I had a blast during my internship!

2. I would LOVE that digital food scale!! They all look wonderful though! The nut and spice grinder is a close second...I've been wanting to make my own almond flour :)

Hi Rachel! I have never seen the baguette pan and would LOVE to try it out! Baking, as long as I've done it, always gives me a happy little jolt to see the final product. It's like magic to me :)

Digital food scale!! That's been on my list for awhile. I already have a yogurt maker and I love it - especially the individual jars, makes it perfect for portability.
I bake and I cook, but baking always is relaxing for me. Measuring, mixing, prepping, then it all goes in the oven. I bake when I'm stressed or worried or need to distract my brain. The best part is I typically don't eat baked goods when I make them so it's a safe relaxing activity for me. I think I also like that more people enjoy the results of my baking, whereas when I cook frequently it's just for me, as my husband eats so differently than I do.

Rachel! awesome blog, just love it. My choice is digital food scale, something I wouldn't buy for myself but oh so useful. Baking over cooking, hands down- the sweet aroma fills the air.

hi Rachel-

The Rival Fondue Set for me....and baking, I love- such nice results- especially bread and pies!

I want the Polder Digital Glass Top Kitchen Scale (as much for yarn as for food, I have to admit, but it would be great to have an accurate scale).

I prefer baking because I'm more likely to be focused on just one thing when I'm baking. When I'm cooking I generally make more than one dish, and it's not as relaxing.

Yogurt maker looks really cool! i never thought of such a thing! i also love baking! i dunno why by its just awesome <3

I would love the digital scale. I think it would make recipe-making much more exact. And I definitely prefer baking. Something about kneading dough and the smell of baking cookies is extremely therapeutic. :-)

I would love to win the fondue set! Making fondue sounds like so much fun!

Cooking or baking? I would definitely have to say cooking as I'm not a very good cook... I love being creative in the kitchen, but I don't like to follow recipes. And usually not following recipes doesn't work very well when you are baking...

Unknown said...

i'd love to add a digital scale to the kitchen to measure things out better.

Also, I definitely prefer cooking over baking. I like sweets, but I definitely prefer savory and there are soooo many techniques used in cooking that keep things interesting! :)
